Line 8.2
The new version of Line 8.2 has lots of new features and is already available for download. The new features are free for all Line users. To access all the new features, you need to update the client and server. Line 8.2 runs on Windows 10 ≥ v1809. What’s new? Car number plate recognition is now available for Line XVR 8S (includes one channel) and Line XVR 16S (includes two channels) video recorders. This feature operates in checkpoint mode on the recorders, i.e. the number is not detected when the vehicle is moving. Recognition has been added for number plates from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Ukraine and Republic of Belarus (the recorders only support Russian numbers). As well as identifying the number plate, the system can now determine the vehicle’s direction of travel. New video analytics modules have been added. Human Detector is no longer exclusive to cameras and is now an integral part of the new object detector, which detects people, vehicles, animals and left objects. Besides the object detector, there’s also a sabotage detector. New archive filters and the option to export by event: objects, vehicle direction of travel, sabotage and left objects. The Reactions module has been completely redesigned with the addition of new variables. Reactions can now be enabled or disabled, including by using the button added to the app’s main menu. Reactions don’t stop when the user goes to Management. It’s now easier for users to interact with the app, and the following features have been added: Automatically exit “Manage” if inactive. Preview the archive timeline. Manage the number and type of connected devices, as well as allowed devices. An icon appears if one of the streams is disconnected. You can test transport settings. The CPU load value is displayed so that you can check if the server is coping when analytics are enabled. Select the stream for a cyclical monitor. You can remotely reboot the camera or video recorder from the Utilities menu. The MyVMS mobile client has been updated and includes: Integration with the Sigur access control and management system. The Line Cloud online service has also been updated and is hosted on the new devline.tv platform. Now you can manage Line devices remotely and configure recording to the cloud server in one place. The basic speed of TURN has been increased: now every customer has 5 Mbps for one device by default for free. |
